About Hometown Field Guides

Hometown Field Guides are illustrated guides to getting monarch butterflies to lay eggs in your own yard. Each one is written for one city, because the plants, the soil and the weeks the monarchs come through are different in every place. The first is the Austin Edition.

Hometown Field Guides and Garden with Lilly are names of Supertrained Inc., a Florida company, which writes and sells these guides.

What we hold ourselves to

• Every date is based on a sourced record, and the source is printed beside it. Where a date is our judgement, the guide says so.
• Every plant we recommend is backed by two institutions.
• Every plate is checked against a written spec of what each part should look like.
• No invented reviews, testimonials or numbers, and no countdown timers.
